Terms of Use

Last updated: 11 August 2026

Welcome to Hindu Research Portal (hinduresearch.com). These Terms of Use describe the basic rules that apply when you access or use the website and its features. They are intended to be clear and practical rather than to create claims about services or guarantees that the site does not actually provide.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hindu Research Portal, you agree to use the website consistently with these Terms of Use and applicable law. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the relevant website features.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

Hindu Research Portal does not state a separate minimum-age requirement in these Terms. Certain features, particularly AI services and account-linked functionality, may require a Supabase account/session.

In the supplied website implementation, Rishi AI can be accessed after either Google sign-in or the site's visible anonymous/demo sign-in path. The website also uses an anonymous Supabase session for its optional global quiz leaderboard when that backend capability is available. Google sign-in requests the user's email scope, while anonymous sessions use an account/session identifier rather than a personal email address.

Account/session functionality may support:

Not every feature requires an account. Local quiz statistics and other browser-based features can operate without sign-in where the current implementation permits. Account availability and feature access can depend on the underlying authentication and backend configuration.

3. AI/API Usage Limits

AI and API features may be subject to per-user, per-session, account-based, technical, or service-level limits. Limits may change, reset, be restricted, or be adjusted as the service evolves. The website does not promise unlimited AI/API access.

Users must not attempt to bypass usage limits or authentication controls. API keys, secrets, private credentials, internal configuration, and other non-public backend information must not be requested, exposed, extracted, or misused.

4. Streaks and Account Features

Streaks, scores, play counts, ranks, badges, and other account- or browser-related features are provided as website functionality. The current quiz implementation stores several statistics locally in the browser and may also synchronize leaderboard statistics to Supabase when the global leaderboard is available.

These features depend on technical availability and the underlying storage implementation. We do not promise permanent preservation of any streak, score, rank, leaderboard position, or similar record, and such records have no monetary value or guaranteed reward.

5. Educational & Informational Use

Hindu Research Portal is an independent educational and research-oriented website. Its articles, tools, profiles, quizzes, calculations, and AI features are intended to support learning, exploration, and research.

The website is not a university, government institution, peer-reviewed journal, medical authority, or official representative of historical personalities. Website content should therefore be used as an educational resource and starting point for further verification, not as a substitute for qualified professional or scholarly judgment.

6. Historical, Cultural & Traditional Information

Historical and cultural subjects can contain different kinds of evidence and interpretation. Where relevant, the website distinguishes between:

Traditional accounts are not automatically dismissed, but they are also not automatically presented as established historical fact. Where evidence is uncertain, incomplete, or debated, the website may identify that uncertainty.

7. Mathematics & Scientific Information

Mathematical and scientific material is provided for educational and informational purposes. Historical interpretations of scientific or mathematical developments can also be debated, and the site may identify relevant uncertainty or context rather than claiming perfect accuracy.

Readers should independently verify important technical claims, calculations, historical attributions, and scientific conclusions when using them for formal academic, professional, or research purposes.

8. Medical / Ayurveda / Health / Exercise Disclaimer

Important: Health, Ayurveda, yoga, exercise, nutrition, and related material on Hindu Research Portal is educational and informational only. It is not medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.

The website does not claim that Ayurveda is universally effective or universally ineffective. A citation or traditional source does not, by itself, establish modern medical efficacy.

9. AI-Generated / AI-Assisted Content

Some website content and responses may be generated or assisted by AI. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or inappropriate interpretations and should not automatically be treated as verified fact.

Rishi AI and Ramanujan AI are educational AI simulations. They are not the historical people they are inspired by. In particular, a simulation does not possess the person's actual consciousness, does not reproduce verified private thoughts, and does not provide an authentic historical response. AI-generated statements presented in a simulated voice should not be treated as verified quotations from the historical person.

Additional historical-person AI simulations may be introduced in the future. Important information should be independently verified against appropriate sources.

10. Historical Images & Illustrative Representations

Website images are generally generated or original website assets where applicable. Historical figures and ancient subjects may also be represented using artistic, generated, illustrative, or reconstructed visuals where authentic photographs or images do not exist or are unavailable.

Such visuals should not automatically be understood as authenticated historical photographs or exact depictions of how a historical person or ancient scene looked.

11. User Feedback, Reviews & Questions

There is currently no dedicated public comments, posts, reviews, or questions platform on the website. Users may voluntarily send comments, feedback, reviews, questions, suggestions, or corrections through the Contact form or the official email address.

We encourage respectful and constructive communication. Submitting feedback does not mean that it will be publicly published, and we do not promise publication.

12. User Submissions

If you voluntarily submit material through the Contact form or official email, you should:

13. Intellectual Property & Copyright

Original website material: Editorial writing, site design, original code, and original or generated website assets, where applicable, may be protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Third-party material: Historical texts, translations, quotations, academic publications, institutional resources, public-domain works, third-party trademarks/logos, and external references may have their own rights or usage conditions. Hindu Research Portal does not claim ownership of every underlying source used or referenced by the site.

Users must respect applicable copyright, trademark, attribution, and other intellectual-property laws when using or reproducing website material or referenced third-party material.

14. Copyright / Content Correction Complaints

For copyright concerns, attribution issues, or content-correction complaints, contact ay5890573@gmail.com. Where reasonably possible, please provide:

  1. the page URL;
  2. a description of the material or claim concerned;
  3. the nature of the concern; and
  4. evidence or ownership information where appropriate.

Providing clear information helps us review the issue. We do not promise a fixed legal response period.

15. External Links & Third-Party Services

The website may use or link to third-party services that are actually part of particular features, including Google services, Supabase, and Formspree. External websites and third-party providers have their own terms and privacy practices, which are not controlled by Hindu Research Portal.

Examples of third-party functionality in the supplied site include Google sign-in, Google Analytics, Supabase authentication/database/function services, Formspree contact-form processing, and external links such as Google Maps or WhatsApp sharing. Availability and exact behavior may depend on those providers.

16. Privacy & Data Practices

Relevant data practices are described in the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms when using account, AI, analytics, contact-form, or other features that involve data processing.

17. User Conduct

Users must not misuse the website or its services. Prohibited conduct includes, as applicable:

18. Accuracy, Uncertainty & Corrections

Website content may contain errors. Historical interpretations can be debated, and scientific or mathematical information can require context. We do not promise perfect accuracy.

Users can report credible corrections through the Editorial & Research Policy process. A useful correction report should include the page URL, the claim in question, and a supporting source where available. Significant verified errors may be corrected, and article revision dates may be updated when appropriate.

19. Account Suspension / Restriction / Termination

Account-linked features or sessions may be restricted, suspended, or terminated where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, including malicious activity, unauthorized access, abuse, usage-limit circumvention, or serious violations of these Terms.

This section does not create a promise that particular data will be deleted or retained for a specified period. Relevant data practices remain subject to the Privacy Policy and the underlying third-party services.

20. Service Availability & Changes

Website features, AI services, authentication methods, calculations, quizzes, integrations, and other functionality may change, become temporarily unavailable, be modified, or be discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.

21. Limitation of Liability

Hindu Research Portal is provided as an educational and informational service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from reliance on information that is inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or generated by AI, or from the acts or omissions of third-party services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit rights, responsibilities, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

22. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated as the website, features, and services evolve. The current version will display its last-updated date. Continued use of the website after an update indicates acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

23. Contact
